Located on the north shore of Donner Lake with a view of Shellenberger Ridge and the Union Pacific's Donner Summit Line. 1950's American cuisine is featured, with an emphasis on Fresh and Fifties. We use real B.F. Mayo, not imitations. Our sandwiches are highly acclaimed and often mentioned in San Francisco reviews. Our small but woodsy dining room is decorated with dozens of signed photos of 1950 Skiing scenes and 1960 Olympics at nearby Squaw Valley. Rare photos also of Sierra trains in the deep snow.
